Anyone else experiencing this problem, or more importantly know a fix?
IE 7 will remember my email address as part of the MSN Passport sign-in but if I select "Save my email address & password", then it only remembers my email prefix (no @msn.com) and the password will still be blank. I would like it to automatcially sign me in to passport whenever I open IE.

IE 7 doesn't rember MSN Passport Password
This is not IE7. This has been going on for a year on the Passport servers. It is not a Vista or IE7 bug.

May well be but I've not encountered it until I began testing Vista and IE7.
Under XP64 and IE6 I have no problems with my sign-in being remembered so I could only assume that it was an issue withy Vista and IE7.
Thanks.

Mine is OK. Didn't notice any problem.

Even folks in MS complain about it from time to time. It is very inconsistent. Sometimes the whole address is remembered, sometimes only the first part, but seldom is the password remembered. It appears that if you sign in soon enough after having left the site for the data to still be in the servers' cache it can be remembered. It also varies by the site. I have never had my password remembered by the Microsoft Connect site. But it has a lot of traffic so maybe I shouldn't be surprised.
